Suggested 30-Minute Magic Show Routine

Use this guideline to put together an easy-to-do 30-minute magic show

Open with Appearing Cane
Ball to Jumbo Square (patter about things not always appearing to be what they really are)
Cut Out Square Circle (put sponges into square circle, show it "empty", pull out silks, including the 20th Century Silks you'll use later) and ball from Strat-O-Sphere, and small Lota Bowl.
Pour the water from the lota bowl into a glass, and put both aside.
Pick up the Strat-O-Sphere ball, and perform Strat-O-Sphere.
Strat-O-Sphere (throw the three balls into audience, have them tossed back one at a time as you put them into Strat-O-Sphere tube)
Choose from Peanut Butter and Jelly Trick, Magic Coloring Book, Forgetful Freddie, Professor's Nightmare. Any of these are great tricks that get the audience involved.
Lota Bowl- as you prepare to do the next effect with your volunteer, peek into the supposedly empty Lota Bowl produced earlier from the square circle, and appear somewhat puzzled. Pour more water from the Lota Bowl into the glass.
Card Duck (comedy card routine using an audience volunteer- plays well to all ages)
Lota Bowl- as you prepare to do the next effect with your volunteer, again peek into the supposedly empty Lota Bowl, and appear somewhat puzzled. Pour more water from the Lota Bowl into the glass.
Water Suspension- use the glass of water you filled with water from the Lota Bowl, and the silks you produced earlier
Use the 20th Century Silks you produced in the square circle earlier, and a change bag with one or two volunteers that you call from the audience.
Dove Pan Prize Production- using one of the volunteers from the previous effect, offer to turn him/her into a magician. Show the dove pan empty. Give him/her a magic wand- the Breakaway Wand. Then give the Breakaway Fan. Finally, just let him/her say the magic words. Open the dove pan to reveal candy or small prizes to end the show.
